Do I need to remove old adhseive residues before laying a levelling compound?
For most floor levellers that is the case. However Setcrete Level-Smart is a specially designed compound for use over adhesive residues, saving time and effort. Setcrete Level-Smart can be applied directly over residues such as bitumen, carpet tile tackifiers, carpet adhesives and similar products, providing that any loose material has been removed. The mechanical removal of such residues can be costly and time consuming, but a product like Setcrete Level-Smart is the answer. It doesn’t even need priming prior to application.
